The gun violence in Philadelphia is at epidemic proportions. About 85% of the City's homicides involve guns- that alone should spur us to take action. As women, we are still the major caregivers so it is critical that we stay vigilant and aggressive in advocating for better gun laws. When children lose their lives to firearm violence, we are robbed of our most precious gifts; we are robbed of our future.
